Will there be live music?
Yes! Annija Putniņa, Kārlis Mangulsonsons & Co will perform on Saturday evening!
How long will the parties last?
Around 8 hours. We plan to start social dancing relatively early, at 21:00 to have plenty of time for dancing, sleep and recovery. “Official” end of parties will be at 5:00.
Do you have the schedule already?
We are still working on it 😉
How many people do you expect to come for the event?
Probably around 150 – 200 people in total.
What about gender balance? Will there be waiting lists if gender balance is not met?
We highly encourage participants to register as couples – this is how you guarantee your participation in the event! We will allow gender balance to be slightly skewed, however, we will imply waiting lists if it will be way off.
Are there any group discounts?
Yes, we have a discount for groups of 5 couples or more: 120 EUR for the event pass. If you would like to organize a group, please, contact us directly at [email protected]
Are there any shops, supermarkets and cafes near the venue hotel?
Yes, there is a huge mall “Olimpia” just next to the venue (2 min walk) with a big supermarket “RIMI” and lots of cafes and restaurants on the second floor. For more information see: https://olimpia.lv/en
I would like to see Riga and the Old City. Can you recommend how to get there and what to see?
Sure! The easiest way is to take a 15 – 20 min walk over the river Daugava and the “Vanšu” bridge and you will arrive near President’s castle. From there, Old City is yours!
Another option is to take any transport (stop on the other side of the tunnel) and drive one stop to “Zigfrīda Annas Meierovica bulvāris”. From there you can have a nice walk through the park “Bastejkalns”, visit The monument of Freedom and then dive into the Old City.
To get back, any transport from the bus stop “Nacionālais Teātris” will do! Just don’t forget to hop off after one stop in “Ķīpsala”.
